a little update. . .
The month of November flew by. Jason and I traveled around San Diego County and discovered many beautiful places that I am sure we will return to soon. On top of Palomar Mountain. 6000 ft. Beautiful views of San Diego County.
Cabrillo National Monument on Point Loma. My brother Hunter came for a visit which was wonderful. I miss him being close. AND ...
To top off the month Jason proposed! The day before Thanksgiving, Nov. 26th. I was preparing a roasted chicken for dinner ( I wanted to do a LITTLE cooking this year since Gram was cooking the turkey) . Jason had told me he was going to get a haircut. I should have known right then something was up. When he returned I was chopping rosemary and garlic. As he walked up I noticed he had his hat on . . . and that's when it all went down. Right there in the kitchen, in my jeans, and his holey shirt (barefoot!). I think his words were, " this is where I always want you to be, I really want you to marry me". AWWWW! It was perfection. Not to mention he then took me to the spa after a bottle of bubbly. Dropped me off for the first professional rub down of my life. Picked me up with my bag (whole closet) packed. Took me downtown San Diego to the top floor of the Hard Rock Hotel for the ultimate newly engaged experience. Woke up Thanksgiving morning with a beautiful view of the stormy city next to the man I will marry, and more in love than ever! Thanksgiving has always been a time to reflect on your life and the love you share with others and thanks to my future hubby my girlish joys of the season are reignited. Thank you babe, not only for the ring( because OMG its seriously beyond my wildest dreams drop dead gorgeous huge bling bling), but for making me a girl again, bringing the sparkle of new life into my eyes, and happiness into my heart. I love you forever and I cannot wait to be you wife and mother to your babies!
