luke weighed 17lbs 4oz at his 6 month check up. he is eating like a carney (mmmm...) and he (seems) to be a pretty happy boy.
we love him !

Lucas Jason Carney arrived on July 13th at 1:08am weighing in at 7 lbs 13 oz and 20 inches long.

week 38

I have been cooking like crazy. Not sure if it is nesting or just something to do with my time. Not working is kind of boring. I have gotten really good at tiger woods 2007 on xbox though. On friday before the 4th I made North Carolina pork with homemade bbq sauce and coleslaw. On Saturday I made potato salad and a couple of pies, one blueberry and one strawberry. Last night I made chicken cordon blue with couscous. Maybe I am just hungry.

Baby's now the size of a watermelon!
Your full-term (yay!) baby is gaining about 1/2 ounce a day and getting his first sticky poop (called meconium) ready. He's also brushing up on skills for the outside world: blinking, sucking, inhaling, exhaling, and gripping (it's getting strong!).
